May 16th, 1993 is our destination this week with another visit to the Vault of Silliness. A Dumb Birthday Game that features:
Helen from Boston
Al from Framingham
Heather from Dorchester
The lovely Jodie in Hudson, NH
Tony in the studio
And Bruce Connelly in Traffic
Birthdays:
Debra Winger
Olga Korbet
George Gaines
Pierce Brosnan
Janet Jackson
Lowell Weicker
Gabriella Sabatini
Studs Terkel
And we close out the game with Dates in History:
First Academy Awards
And Annie Get Your Gun opened on Broadway (Norm says it in his special way)
Bruce and I are completely smitten with Jodie.
Poor Helen doesn’t score but was hoping for a prize anyway. Norm says she only gets our admiration and love and maybe something else…I cannot give that answer away here so you’ll just have to continue listening to find out.
We hear some sage advice from Norm’s Hungarian Gypsy Princess Grandmother.
And Norm recreates a performance from his role in the industrial film “The Romance of Steel Ingots.”
